State Chapters

Power of Pawns has established three chapters across the United States: Wisconsin, California, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. We are seeking nominations from high school students who are interested in promoting chess nationwide and sharing their knowledge with youth across the country.

Wisconsin Chapter Volunteers

    Vinayak Menon

    High School Senior at Brookfield Central (Wisconsin). He is the current Director of Power of Pawns and is leading the Wisconsin Chapter. He is also the lead tutor and volunteer recruiter.

  • Agastya Bhadoria

    Agastya Bhadoria a senior at Brookfield east highschool. I have been a part of power of pawns since I was a freshman. I got into chess when I was 7 because my mom signed me up for a summer school chess class. I still am a part of the chess community heavily involved in my school’s chess club. I joined Power of Pawns because I wanted to help people fall into the game I fell in love with
